Coach Cliff Russell

A former wide receiver in the National Football League, Cliff played 6 years and was a top draft pick for the Washington Redskins in 2002 because of his blazing speed (4.2 sec in the 40 yard sprint). As a professional athlete Cliff gathered the practical knowledge to train and compete.

Cliff holds many years of first hand training experience in the fitness, strength and conditioning industry. He is a National Strength and Conditioning certified trainer/ motivator/ Sprint coach/ Star of the popular online video Ripped Trainer.TV. Cliff is known and has consistently trained over the years, athletes in the NFL, D-I & D-II collegiate levels, CEO’s, and physicians, including those with special needs such as injuries, post and pre surgery.

Cliff incorporates a variety of training methods from strength training, football skill training, body sculpting and integrative stretching and mobility techniques. He believes a body that is physically, mentally and spiritually strong will be productive in all areas of life. Cliff gathered the practical knowledge to train and compete at the highest level. Cliff believes his purpose in life is to inspire and encourage others to reach their full potential and “Rise Above Average”. Cliff is alumni of University of Utah receiving a Bachelor of Science.

Cliff was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He resides in Ashburn VA, with his wife Leah, sons Ezra & Caleb and daughter Zion.
